Casting a Spell – How to Make Protection Powder
- Break apart and place a stick of cinnamon into the mortar (or bowl).
- Add 5 pinches each of:
- Marjoram
- Oregano
- Add 3 pinches each of:
- Basil
- Dill weed
- Garlic
- Cilantro
- Stir the mixture clockwise while visualizing protective energy flowing into the powder.
How to use Protection Powder
The most basic way to use protection powder is to sprinkle it around your home for a home & hearth protection spell. It could also be sprinkled when casting a circle for added protection during a spell.
Powders can use it for smudging and anointing. The powder will work its magick to protect you from negative energy and cleanse the space it’s in. It also makes a nice addition to charms or spell jars for some added protection.
